Three outfits, two H&Ms and one hell of a weekend. That's probably can sum up what I've been doing this weekend. And oh, another one to add: I forgot to bring my wallet. Damn it! Btw, someone care to ask me, hey what happens to zaBigFatWeekend last week? Fyi, my weekend last week is me hybernating in the comfort of my duvet due to cold, mate. But this weekend, voila! I'm back to the highstreet. Bigger, bolder, more rendezvous at the stores (I hope, lol). Kinda revenge what I can't do previously. >:)
Anyway, what's hot in stores?
Oh, my... I always start @ H&M, am I? Wowsa, they truly got loads of things in store this time. From the printed jacket, jacquard lookalike in black with sort of crawling plants on it, to the lacy, meshy jumper, the wraparound shawl cardi which can be worn as a light jacket to the python print slim fit shirt. And oh, they also got the tee with kinda cutout, scratchy on the torso which look quite edgy. Thank God there's a lining underneath; otherwise your nipple will definitely pop out unexpectedly. Lol!
But one thing that I tried which I feel very uncomfortable is the bling blingy tee. Very gender bender. Felt like I'm wearing a women's blouse! In a way, it has this Mayan feel with the metallic squares pasted on it. I think this tee is way beyond tacky. Great if you wanna be the talk of the crowd when you're in a party!
Accessories? H&M got loads this time. From the snood in two different versions - one in chunky knit in grey and the other one a lighter knit in black. Pretty cool with price less than a tenner. And oh, H&M also went crocophilic! From the vanity bag to the zippered wallet and cigarette holder. Very nice. I almost bought the vanity bag like in the pix, after realising I left my wallet at home. Damn! Didn't I just mentioned in this blog I never left home without my LV Brazza wallet? Well, that's not happening this time. :(
What's hot at Uniqlo? Hmmm... I dunno. Are they slowing down? They got this chunky cardi and a sleeveless one which I think got an 'eek' factor. And the hotseller right now is the HeatTech collection - coz weather started to get chilly. Btw, I tried this denim shirt in camel. Fit is quite bad coz the fabric is teeny weeny stiff. Also hate when it lies way below the butt. Not cool at all. The velvet blazer in wine, however, is pretty nice. The slim fit is great, though I'm not a fan of two-buttons. Better take the +J one, coz it's even better.
What's hot in Zara? Oh, I'm avoiding it this time coz everytime I walked in, I will end up buying something. Since I forgot my wallet, the best way is not to go in. At all. :)
Anyway, what am I expecting to try on my next visit to the highstreet? These lots from H&M - the frilly shirts and paint-splashed tees. Look quite cool. And talking about H&M, I think by now people are thinking about what to get next Saturday, the 14th - coz it's Jimmy Choo day!
