A Couture Aztec Warrior

Quoting what Dean & Dan Caten said in my previous post;

"To change your look, accessorize differently.
Take one piece and let it make a statement..."

Well, let's make a statement indeed with these scarves.I always love scarves coz it's one way to spice up the overall outfit. What I usually do is to go plain and sombre (or sober whatever you wanna call it) with my basics, then wrap the neck area with some fab scarves. Be it just skinny cotton one, or big fluffy snood, or even the monochrome stripes that I post in this blog before. Or even with some paisleys or 'masculine' floral scarves which can be found lots at Zara. (what is masculine floral btw? Lol!)

But with these Gucci scarves - holla.. that's a big statement I can truly made. Simple but major. Love the Aztec prints. Pretty awesome, which kinda remind me of the pattern in the sarong that my brother used to wear. They come in a choice of ivory and blue with very intricate but chic prints. The size is pretty big that you can even double wrap it around the neck.

But one problem to me: they're silk. I can't wear that... Gucci, please do it in other fabrics but silk, please... :)

Aztec prints are also seen in Gucci SS10 catwalk. I think tribal prints will always made into the spring/summer trend. Last season it is the African print, probably next season - the fashion eyes will go west part of the globe. Aztec, Mayan, and all the Mexican thingy - which is very geometric and cool. Hmm.. I just wonder, when they're gonna use pua kumbu prints. Coz that's what I totally j'adore!
