ES Style: Gym Look

S
What's on the ES Mag's Style section last week? It's all about the gym look. Very loose and sporty, pretty laid back silhouette as seen in Dior Homme SS10. The color scheme remain the same - more about turquoise again, with a dash of greys and flesh tones here and there. (Now it's confirmed that turquoise IS the SS10 color, huh?).

When i saw how the lookbook is put together, suddenly I remember that I can create the same look myself. So, i went on rampaging my wardrobe one more time and pulled out certain bit and pieces based on the color scheme in the ES Style. And voila. I got it.

First combo: turquoise fitted-sleeve tee from Topman (on sale at £3) and grey sweat pants from Uniqlo (on sale at £6). I got both two years ago during summer sale. I love the tee coz the fabric is organic bamboo, giving some texture in it which make it pretty cool. And Uniqlo sweat pants (and sweatshirts), to me they're really to die for coz the fabric is very soft to the touch. Unlike the one at other highstreet stores which I find very coarse.

Second combo: The flesh tones. From the vest in nude and sand-colored merino jumper, both from H&M, and taupe V-neck tee from Uniqlo (that I got almost 3 years now, yikes!). All at a price less than a tenner! The key here, as long as I can see the longevity in the look, then I'll buy it. The fabric seem to be okay after these years, even after couple of washes. Plus, with the color scheme seems to make a return for SS10 too, guess who's the fashion forward now? Ahaks.. :)
