This big freeze made me wanna wrap myself in wool. Coz they're deffo the most snuggly thing ever that can keep me warm. When I wrecked open my wardrobe the other day, less that I found that I was about to reunite with my long lost scarf. A scarf that I bought for almost 10 years now. Wow. A decade? Yes. During when the Primark at Oxford St is still a C&A, Uniqlo is a Tesco Metro, and Borders is still exist. Also during which highstreet is seen as a guilty pleasures for those people who reluctant to spend a lot on designer clothing, compared to now where it's becoming a forefront in UK fashion.
Well, the scarf is my monochrome stripe wool from Gap. Back then I think it's very expensive and cost me a whopping £15. That's a lot for a struggling student in London, okay. But I think, I already had my stylistic eye even back then (ahaks!) coz the look never dated even in this new Tweenies. It can be paired with almost anything coz I think it looks simple and classic. Agree?
So. Longevity? I think so. And that's what I should look for every time I go shopping. :)
