Fall/Winter 2009/10 will close its curtain by the end of this month. Well, officially of course. Unless as what Vanessa Williams used to say... sometimes the snow comes down in June... then that'll be a different story. And in London particularly, lots of people I met said they've never experience this kind of winter since for the past 30 years. What not - with the heavy snow, biting wind and not to mention the weeks and weeks long with plunging temperatures - spring/summer is indeed welcomed with open arms. :)
So, before we end the season let's see what Gucci has in their classic fall/winter collection. As the name says - classic - the slim silhouette that Frida Giannini is famous for dominates the look. Jackets cut with perfection contouring the torso, pants skimming and elongates the legs, fabric like velvet becoming the key trend and sombre but rich colors like chocolate and hues of greys - they're indeed have the neo-Gucci DNA. And the accessories - they look timeless and seasonless too - especially those crafted with Guccissima pattern. Such fantastico.
As I used to say... give me Gucci, I'll be happy. =)
