When it comes to summer, I definitely will not be wearing those wool or tweed jacket anymore. Or I'm gonna be drenching in sweat in those scorching heat. So, what I'm gonna choose would definitely the linen jacket, coz the material is always light and much more breathable. There are many types of linen that I found out there in the highstreet or from designer labels - from pure linen to linen-mix - but it doesn't really matter as long as it's still a 'linen'. And one thing which I love about linen jackets is the texture. It's not plain looking coz the yarn gives some sort of its own pattern on the whole look. Great if you wanna spice up a bland outfit.
And I found this linen jacket by Zegna. Very simple jacket in grey color, and slim-fittting as I usually like. It's beautifully tailored coz the waist really hugs and give extra oomph to the look. The price, however, is quite cruel... more than £700! Errk!! (at Matches Fashion)
Yet one thing that I'm quite surprise is, it looks exactly like my linen jacket that I got from H&M two years ago. In grey and slim fit too. I love coz it really accentuate the torso in that simple edgy look whenever I wore it. And the price at less than £30 ... that's really more than worth it! Well, since it's already 2 years old, it is basically my own vintage! :)
