Last month when I went to Zara @ Whiteley's in Bayswater, suddenly I went oooh, what's this? when I saw the new jumper on the shelf. Not just any typical jumper - it's very sheer and the finishing on the fabric is little bit raw. Kinda like tweed with the fibers feel a bit rough to the touch. Yet, quite luxe at the same time.
So, it's a matter of like it, try it, love it, take it and pay! And there I am in less than 10 minutes in zara, I went out from the store with that jumper in hand. At first I was thinking when can I wear it coz then the weather in London is quite chill and to wear it there I need to layer with a whole lot tops underneath to keep me warm. But less that I know I'm going home later that month - so one thing that I didn't miss out in my luggage is this jumper.
My verdict? What an awesome purchase. In the scorching 32 degree C heat - I felt practically nothing. It might make me look 'hot' with that scooped neck, but feel hot? Not really. Maybe because it's quite sheer and meshy, making the jumper very airy instead. Or probably because it's partially linen, so the sweat being absorbed and dried quickly.
Whatever it is, I love this jumper. Especially it made its way into the lookbook too! =)
