BigFatSnoop: Stripes, Studs and the Queen @ H&M

S
I think H&M is slowing down this time when it comes to filling up new items in store. They kinda lack behind Topman and Zara coz the latter got loads of new stuff on the shelves, even for Autumn 2010. Is that why their profit has slumped as what's been reported in the news? Hmmm....

Anyway, some of the stuff I picked during my latest snooping at their flagship store in Regent St. Lots of stripes. Horizontal stripes, to be exact. Like the cotton cardigan in cream/grey mini stripes. This one is for summer collection coz the material used is more to sweat-absorbing rather than sweat-quenching. The fit is great and it skims perfectly on the torso. Since it's part of their L.O.G.G range, that's why the color is a bit faded.

Some tees in horizontal stripes include these two lots - in navy and grey based colors. A bit stretchy, which is good coz it fits onto the body perfectly well. The material very lightweight and 'thin', kinda from organic cotton or so. And I'm sensing that one should never tumble dry this one; otherwise you could've get into that Honey, I shrunk the kids moment (if you know what I mean).

This t-shirt is perfect for the Sex Pistols fan coz it features their signature infamous 'emblem' - the Union Jack with the Queen's face being 'taped' with the words 'God Save the Queen'. VEry rock 'n' roll, suit for those who wanna go to the music festivals.

Last but not least, they got a black sweater with studded shoulder details. It seems that everyone is going for the embellished thingy these days especially to copy the Burberry FW2010 look. This one has fleece lining underneath which made it quite warm when wearing it. Bring it to your gym session then, so that you'll look edgier. =)
