My definite weakness is boots. A pair of higher-than-ankle boots. I'm always excited when seeing any, including these one by Kurt Geiger. Codenamed Hook, it looks fierce with multi-buckles strapping up to the calves. I love how they keep it simple; almond toe, low heels, simple design - but only to be upped in term of style with four adjustable straps and a bit slouchy look. The material is slightly grained leather upper with contrasting suede in similar tones on the sides.
They come in a choice of black and choc brown colors. I think it's a definite winner to rock the Fall/Winter 2010 look.
When it comes to boots, especially a higher-up-there slouchy versions - one way that I love wearing it is to tuck the jeans in. It's much edgier, plus it's the only way to show that you ARE wearing one. Like in this pix, when I wear my Zara boots early this year during London big freeze. Though it might be cold outside there, but this look is hot! (Is it wrong to say that I love my own look here? ahaks!)
