An ode to the Red Warriors team who won the FA Cup two weeks ago after 40 years longing to hold the much-coveted prize in the football game. Though I'm not really into soccer thing - my sister did btw, big time - but I have to say the year 2010 means the world to the Kijang team. They even celebrated it in full glory; with a special holiday given by the state government, paraded the Cup all the way from south to the north and displaying it at the center of the stadium for all to see. Its a huge celebration. Its awesome. The fact is the fans truly dominates the scene. On the street, by the mamak stall watching on the big screen, and of course in the National Stadium while wearing the 'Red Warrior' jersey shirts that fill almost 2/3 of the arena - the fan truly rocks.
The color red is awesome. It screams enthusiasm. It shouts bravery. It attracts attention. And it stands out in the crowd. Like these red ties by Burberry. Simple but very attention-grabbing. I like the tartan checks that give a sense of tradition to the ensemble you're wearing. And the color red looks fun to wear. There's a fiery one on the far left to almost subdued towards the right. I like that the design is much slimmer, giving a modern feel it.
So, next year: would the Red Warrior fans wear a red tartan ties instead of the red jersey to show their support? =)
