... But Dude, Where's My iPad? : Part 4

S
Oooh... let get the latest dirt on the new iPad2. What's the new rumors that I've heard after my previous post about what's gonna fall from the Apple tree? It's gonna be tomorrow, right? Huhu.. just wait and see how the bloggers would clog the entire web one more time and the technogeeks glued to their netbook and notebook screen for another round.

Ok. Rumor has it that the new iPad gonna sport a dual-core ARM Cortex-A9 processor (whatever that is I have no idea coz do fashionisto need to know all those codings?), 512MB of faster RAM (this one I know..ahaks!), front and back cameras and a slimmer, lighter build. And it seems that we're not gonna wait till June to get the gadget appears onto our lap coz reliable sources from the land of Oz (that's Aussie, if you ask) said it'll ship immediately after the release tomorrow at a starting price of $599 with a Wifi model. At what Gb is that? I dunno, coz my phone suddenly burst into flames seconds after hearing the news..just like in Mission Impossible. Ok, I'm kidding. Ha! And in fact, another sources also confirmed that Apple instructed all the retail stores to clear up the stock of old iPads as soon as the new one is released tomorrow. Whether the news are true or not - it doesn't matter coz all these juicy rumors really keep us going, aren't they?

Anyway. While waiting for Mr. Jobs or Mr. Whoever-on-the-Jobs to get onto that stage tomorrow, lets delve ourselves with some arrays of pretty iPad cases out there in the market. In the fourth installation of my countdown to iPad 2, I'm really loving these zippered cases by Raymond Hau. They're made of exotic skin like ostrich, python and lizardskin, as well as sharkskin leather in black. Inside they're fully lined with lambskin that seems to look so buttery soft, hence could prevent scratches of your new iPad2.

Price? Starts from USD415 for the shark leather up to USD590 for the lizardskin. (They also have croc, costing more than $2000!). The company is actually based in the US, but Raymond himself assures me thru the email today that the iPad cases will be shipped worldwide with an additional delivery cost depending on your location.

One thing for sure - I love that Ostrich! ;)

p/s: I'll do my final countdown on iPad cases tomorrow morning... which I think could be MAJOR! :)
