One thing that I learned from past experiences, when I buy something from a fashion house I'd go for their own trademark. Or something that become their signature. Like Louis Vuitton for the Damier Graphite, Armani for the sharp suit, and Gucci for... ermm... practically everything. Well, ok. Maybe just their loafers or slip-on shoes, which Frida herself said in GQ Style - that's what customers always look for.
As for Burberry, I love their signature checks design. Especially the Brit check. And talking about the signature, I like it when they bring the design on the cardigans too. Symmetrical, diagonal - it doesn't really matter coz the checks look amazing. Aren't they? I love the one featured in somewhat dark purple color. Just awesome. And it looks very well-fitted too.
Hope that some highstreet stores could bring their own interpretation of Brit check to the deserving masses. :)
