When You Are in The City... Wear Like 'Em!

You know the sayings, when you're in Rome, do as the Romans do. Meaning, you've gotta rock in the gladiator outfit. Haha..not really. It's probably true if you live during that era. But nowadays, I don't think you can do the gladiator - except for the footwear (read: gladiator sandals)! Otherwise, people may mistaken you for those 'character' outside the Colloseum. :)

So, you wanna visit the fashion capitals of the world. If you watch ANTM, Tyra has taken the contestants in many fashion capitals like Milan, London, LA and New York. And for the current cycle 14, it's New Zealand time, the land in the middle of the earth! Part of understanding the surrounding and the culture, you've gotta rock how those people wear too, right? So, for that

What does it says? Just see how the people wear. If you're in Milan, it's the high-powered menswear - think Dolce & Gabbana for very dandy and edgy, or Gucci to look very rock-n-roll with Italian flair. In New York everything seems to be simple and chic like Calvin Klein, or with a dash of preppy clothing as in Ralph Lauren. In LA, everyone wanna looks like what celebs wear. But be careful, you wanna look like the A-listers, not the one in the rehabs (though some A-listers also have been in rehab). Nggg...

In London - I think nothing can beat the skinny jeans and plimsols. And you'll never look out of place when you ride those Tube. Oh, and please... stand on the right when you take the elevators! Ahaks!
