Evening Standard has become a bit cruel lately coz they haven't featured any lookbook for men anymore. Everytime I opened the Friday issue of ES Magazine, the men's page is missing in action. Kinda blah I guess coz they have to remember that we, men, (read that words not as 'women' orait, lol) also read it and expect to see something for us too, you know. But, oh well. Maybe the stylist if off for vacation perhaps. =)
Anyway. The previous issues of ES lookbook features colors galore. Since we're all in summer now, that's what people are gonna wear. Colors! From camels, reds and blues, to the touch of pink and a hint of grey. And if you're in British summer, you'll never know when you truly gonna get a great weather. That's why it's good to get the jacket ready.
Talking about lookbook, I always love the pairing between blue and camel, like the one worn by AJ in Bottega Veneta below. I dunno how, but the combo always work. Or to appear chic, you can always do all in one color but different tones - like the blues, seen on Simon at Lacoste. I like how streamlined the whole look is. Oh, another combo that always go together effortlessly is pink and grey. (Which I think I've mentioned it in my 'Love Story' post). Yet, IMO it takes a really brave soul to rock H2T in all pink like in the last pix. =)
Btw, all great lookbook. To ES, don't leave the 'men' behind, please...
