Nixon has come up with a range of watches with the rounded square face design that looks very sophisticated. Codenamed: Player. They also feel quite retro but contemporary at the same time. I always love the square-faced watches, not just the symmetricality they have but also the 'cuffed' feel it creates when you wear it. It's the feeling of no 'pertubation' and streamline as it flows fluidly across the wrist. Like a cuff. :)
These Nixon Player watches available in various versions. The stainless steel Player, made of the stainless steel bracelet and hardened mineral crystal glass; the rubber Player, molded silicone with stainless steel skeleton and hardened mineral crystal glass; and the luxe version - Player Ceramic, created by solid ceramic body with stainless steel skeleton and scratch resistant saphire crystal glass.
The watches have 3-hand movement mechanism of either Japanese Quartz (Stainless steel & Rubber) or Swiss-made mechanical (Ceramic). And they are water resistant of up to 100-m, making it suitable to be worn when you go snorkeling at Maldives during your summer holiday. :)
Prices started at £140 for the rubber Player up to £1400 for the Player Ceramic.
