There's a new jeans design at H&M. It's called New Standard. What is it? How is it?
Well, if you're an avid follower of highstreet fashion, most of the stores have been awashed with the harem pants in many looks and designs. From Topman with their carrot cut to Zara with the harem sweat pants and River Island in their jogger range - all seem to agree with one basic feature: the dropped crotch. And that include this jeans that I saw previously in H&M Oxford Circus.
It is called a New Standard because it's basically 'new' compared to their already many denim names: Bragg, Sliq, Drain, etc... etc. It has a dropped crotch that hang quite low, which I think about 4-5 inches lower than a typical denim making your whole bottom look quite funny. If you have that 'do my bum look big in this' issue, then avoid getting this jeans coz it made you look like that: bigger bum! Yet, the only thing that I like about the jeans is the fabric - they're better than the other range.
In case you wanna know what kind of denim range at H&M, there's a Jeans Guide at H&M website that shows that. Whatever it is, the most important thing is: buy jeans that fits! Simple.
