Irina Shabayeva doesn't disappoint again this time. Her collection for Fall/Winter 2011 presented recently at New York Fashion Week exudes simplicity with a touch of glam. The womenswear ranging from snuggly hooded cardigans, beautiful coats and jackets, one part body con, one part very fluid - they're all fantabulous. And there's an injection of red-carpet-ready pieces from cocktail dresses to evening gowns which fit perfectly for the paparazzi-hungy masses.
My fav pieces from the FW2011 show is actually the geometric chrysanthemum prints which is seen on some. Though they're absolute collection for the ladies, but I'm sensing that the print could find its way flawlessly into menswear. Whether on the t-shirts or shirts, or even on scarves - the floral pattern is very unisex in design. Perhaps some hightstreet stores could be inspired by this collection and produce similar look for guys.
Or perhaps, Irina wanna do menswear too in the near future? Let's just hope and wait...
