Making an Impact: Every Little Helps?

I think I've left them gagging for more. It was last December that the event happened, but I've just heard about the story a couple of weeks ago. A revelation from friend of mine who suddenly broke the news that her students has been asking her about 'Who's that guy? Is he a new staff? What's his name? Who's he?'. Something that I found quite bizarre, funny but exhilarating at the same time. I dunno how and what made the students asked about who I am. The one thing I wanna know: why are they asking?

I was one of the invigilator during the previous final exam, held in the big hall - the last invigilation slot that I've had last December. I'm not the Chief though, unlike in the previous day... instead, just a normal one. So, I've decided to appear incognito and just blend in to the surroundings. Don't wanna stand out, just appear almost non-existence. Yeah... almost. What did I chose to wear? All black. Yup, so that people won't see me unlike the previous session where I wore a fleck skinny suit. This one is nothing but black: black shirt + black trousers + black boots. Back to black, just like what Amy Winehouse said.

Ok, fine. There's a little twist. My black shirt has this white piping on the spine, making it a bit something compared to my other plain black shirts. That's all, nothing much. Dunno whether that made it stands out somehow. But I do have to tell you one thing though: I purposely walk from behind the hall to the front towards the stage where all the invigilators sit, so that the audience really notice the 'little surprise' behind my shirt. Ahaks! Come on... I can be cheeky evil sometimes, can't I?

Anyway, I asked my friend why are they asking about me? Because you look so stylish! Stylish? With just that simple look...?

And she further added. They're all checked you out in the uni website! Whaa...? For real? Why? Oh my... what have I done! And I then told her, Well they can... but they will see a different me then coz I look so different in THAT photo 8 years ago! Ha!

Anyway, do you think my Zara shirt with the white piping spine stands out eventhough it looks very simple? But one thing for sure... it reminds me to the Valentino dress that Julia Roberts wear to the Oscar, that won her the coveted award. Little thing do leave a big impact sometimes, huh? :)
