You've probably have seen my Officine Creative Castillo sandals that I bought in the previous summer sale from Selfridges. It is by far the closest that resembles the McQueen's Calamity gladiator but without the hefty price tag. (read here to compare) The design is almost similar - if not the same - from the the ribcage body that hugs the foot pretty well when I walk, to the slightly offside parting of the center laces; it is as if a mirror image of one another. The only different: McQueen's got the skull print on the base, while mine doesn't.
And for Spring/Summer 2011, Officine Creative has released a new Castillo in dark brown. Looks equally delish coz dark choc is always more versatile to pair with almost anything. Should we get this new one too? (ehem, wait till summer sale!)
