Cool. I thought it was 6 last time??
It definitely was 2 years ago. My cable modem broke and the engineer finally turned up to replace it at 5:50.

I know we'll know for sure real soon, but I was just wondering if there's any expectation one way or the other regarding how likely the ipad2 will be jailbreak-able, either with the current apps or with current known but unused exploits.

Nope, which is why a lot of people are now telling you to make a trip to the charity in question, and donate directly, instead of donating to somebody collecting money for a charity.
Good thing too. All those 3% mount up. I really hope most are donating direct rather than through Spymac or others like them (taking a cut).

Your baseband is not an exclusive version :/ It is in the family of sad un-unlockable children. Your brothers and sisters are 02.10 and 04.10. The golden child is 01.59.
Haha sorry, it's late t__t but yeah, unless they are magically able to unlock only 03.10, I don't see retaining the bb as any real value.

If I remember correctly I needed the jumper on 1.5 for my xserve but I left everything alone on all the other xserves even my g5. I want to say something else about my old trusty g5....it have a slightly faster network transfer rate than all my other xserves
OK I tried a 3tb Hitachi in my 2009 xserve and it only reports 2.2tb, so I think 2.2 is the limit.

why has nobody ever replied to this???
Unfortunately, on busy days sometimes posts get lost, like this one probably did.
However - congratulations to 18thTomorrow on one of the lowest cost switching stories I've heard. A G3 with monitor for $150? Sweet.

Really? I think they're great. I've had much better service with them compared to the Apple stores, hands down.

It occurs to me that I see all kinds of threads about 'hackin' or upgrading a Mac that is 8 or more years old so that it can run with the latest software.
It's interesting because these machines are still working well enough to want to do this to.
How many threads do you see about PC users wishing to do the same?
Food for thought.

No problem, hopefully it's something simple.
Have you removed the preference file though? I'd do that first because it's a pretty harmless troubleshooting technique that is generally quite effective. :)
Remember to keep the file so that if it doesn't fix anything, you can put it back where you found it to keep your old settings. :)

Try using passive mode. Issue "pasv" or "passive" in the command-line or find this option in your GUI clients.thanks for responding. yeah i checked the connection settings in 'Preferences'. Its already in Passive mode.

Oh my god! I tried to do this exact same thing last night with absolutely no luck as well...
When you use the "Advanced Setup" it asks for an ftp server, a site name.. and it assumes the port.
Then it goes through its "Setup" and tells you your remote hosting ftp blogger account has been setup on your server for you.
Apparently the folks over at blogger think that minor things like usernames and passwords are unnecessary for ftp access.
I have no idea how to set it up either.

If you plan on keeping your computer for as long as possible always get the best you can afford.
To answer your questions:
1) Based on your uses get the I7. More and more applications will use multithreading so the I7 will be a monster.
2) I dont think paying the extra for 2GB RAM is worth it as the card may not use all of it. Thats my personal opinion.

Are the processor's all "Desktop" or are they "Mobile"?
Since this Samsung processor is a 2630 QM (used in the base MacBookPro I believe) The base iMac should have at least that right?
