Autumn/Winter 2010: Dolce & Gabbana

Word of advice to all budding fashion slave out there: DON'T THROW AWAY YOUR OLD SHOES! Coz distressed shoes seems to be making a headline in Autumn/Winter 2010.

Well, at least that's what Dolce & Gabbana said, as I can see there're lots of 'recycled' shoes sent off on the runway. So, if you think that your boots or lace-ups are worn out; don't throw it away. Or if you fancy your old man's shoes of the yesteryears, which being kept ages in the attic - dust it off and reuse it. Then you can rock the D&G look. :)

But if wearing vintage is not your thing, you can always go to River Island coz they're the one who really pioneer in this kind of distressed boots things.

Anyway, in the previous Dolce & Gabbana AW10 show, apart from the typical suits and dinner jackets one thing that make people talking are the knitwear as well as the... ehem... innerwear. Seeing Noah Mills, David Gandy and Evandro in those longjohns reminds me of wild wild west or cowboy movie coz most heroes in the films wore one. Or Micheal J Fox in Back to the Future III. Yeah, those longjohns are true lifesaver esp in cold winter like in London last week (and still is). But if you think the Dolce's innerwear look 'chunky' and rather go for something 'thin' that won't add bulk to what you wear, there's always Uniqlo HeatTech! :)
