A new week has started again. And I'm on a field trip going up north to East Midlands one more time. I hope this is not my last one coz I really love going there, since the ambience is totally different from London. Out from hustle and bustle of congested capital, in to the very cool place. Though it's pretty quiet there (which feel like an abandoned city in an apocalypse movie), sometimes my mind need a rest from the craziness of the big city. What i'm quite surprised really is how the taxi guy now know who I am, coz when I called the cab mentioning "I'm going from here to here", they instantly replied "Mr Abdullah?". Lol! Isn't that cool?
One thing that always put me in a totally 'awe' moment upon boarding off the train is to see the big cooling tower of the power station. So majestic!
Anyway, after a long day what a great feel to touch down on the Big Smoke again. And being welcomed at the grandeur of the St Pancras station.
Oooh.. what am I bringing with me today? My Reiss Windsor tweed bag that I bought during winter sale. I love the overall design. Just awesome. Not too big, not too small - just simple and perfect for my short trip. And coupled with Topman tweed jacket and my new Gucci boots, I just love how streamlined my outfit of the day. Very British with a touch of Italian flair. Or to simply put it - very London look. Ahaks! :)
