Have you ditch your winter clothes and start wearing less? Isn't it time to hide all those overcoats, chunky knit sweaters and tweed jackets that you've been wearing for as long as you can remember. To all my mates who live in London right now, I know that the thermometer shows half of what I'm in right this second, but hey... start rejoicing in the new season and wear 'thin' okay! It's time to renew your wardrobe too!
Talking about new season, Zara has come up with new 'Casuals' lookbook for Spring 2010. The color palettes still shows the staple monochrome hues, yet there are some injection of colors especially denim blues which play a big trend this season. Denim is seen on shirts, gilets and of course, jeans. Mentioning jeans it seems that the rules for this season is that there are no rules. Torn, distressed, slim, skinny or regular fit - everything goes as long as its denim.
But one thing that I really like in the lookbook is the return of cropped harem sweatpants which is previously seen at Tim Hamilton FW'09 (by which Zara also did the 'normal harem sweatpants too). The key here is simplicity, which made it look much chic than tacky ala MC Hammer. I think it's awesome since spring/summer is the perfect time to show off that calves of yours! =)
