Zara lookbook for October 2010.
Say hellooo to autumn coz now its time to start wearing your knits since the weather gonna be very chill soon. Though London Met Office do say that this year the 'actual' autumn is gonna be delayed for another month (hmm.. delayed like the Tube?), but I think nobody can stand the unnerving wind of this season. Especially when coupled with the downpour at times, the chill really gets to your bone!
Anyway. Some pieces in the new lookbook seems to take a new turn this year. Chunky knit become less chunky coz they no more look like Dolce & Gabbana's yesteryear's bulkiness. The Fair Isle design which always become a staple for Fall/Winter suddenly gives way to Aztec/Andes-tribal-influenced pattern. Also, it seems that nowadays loungewear has become the in thing when people start wearing their sweats together with the much more tailored pieces.
Think the clothes here look bland? No they don't coz you really has to see 'em yourself in-store. One piece of item that I like is the jacket in pix #8 which has given an interesting twist: the sleeves are detachable! Meaning that I can wear it just like what I used to design in this blog. (click here). Except that it has two buttons instead of one. Great minds think alike? Ahaks!
