Gucci Holiday 2010 Catalog

Military green dominates the Holiday 2010 catalog by Gucci. Seen on a lot of pieces like totes, briefcase and messenger bag in GG imprimé fabric, to the wallet, belts, footwear as well as ties in Gucci diamante pattern. Though it's kinda unusual to use the color for Autumn/Winter, I think this shade of green it works acceptably well; and Gucci played it smart since the color can also continue for next Spring/Summer too which will not look out of place when pair it alongside camouflage theme.

The one that I love in the collection is the new iPad covers that come in new colors like the previously mentioned army green to the silver one in Guccissima leather. Great to spruce up the styling for your fav touchscreen tablet. And I also like the precious skin - croc and ostrich - that looks awesome in the similar tones.

Also included in the catalog is Gucci's new environmental-friendly packaging design which already made its debut early this year. What I like about it is not only they're all recyclable, but also it exudes an understated luxury with the Guccissima pattern on the paper boxes and bags. Plus, the color looks equally delicious in trademark brown color. Think you wanna throw away all the packaging? No way. It's Gucci - I'll definitely keep them safe in my closet and reuse it rather than letting any microbes eat it (since it's biodegradable!).
