When I wear any blazer, I love to zhuzh it. Yeah, the thing when you bring the sleeves up towards the upper arms. I like doing it coz it makes you look a bit edgier or more rock-n-roll. But one thing that I hate about zhuzhing is when I'm in hot and humid weather. Kinda hard to bring the sleeves up. Sometimes it annoys me too when the sleeves return to the 'original' position, going down. That's pretty okay if I'm in fall or winter season, when I wear it with my fingerless gloves, but in hot climate - that's not cool!
While I'm wishing that I just cropped the sleeves or someone out there could give me some options, as if my prayer has been answered I found a jacket at Sub. One brand that is so synonymous with their black and white collection, coz when you stepped into their store, there's nothing but monochrome. Probably some hint of red and yellow - but it's minimal. Only black and white most of them. :)
I love the sleeves of this jacket. Very cropped, slightly below the elbow. And when I do a little turn up, the pinstripe lining give an extra factor to spice up this jacket. The fit is very slim and drop just nicely below the bottom. And the fact that it has one button and the fabric is quite lightweight, I said to myself I have to snap this one. That white piping along the lapels really add some flair to this jacket too - which is quite similar to the razor blazer that I bought at Topman.
Oh, one thing you should know - the sizing goes up when buying clothes in Asia. If in London I wear a 'small', at Zara (a Spaniard) I wear a 'medium' - in Asia, I have to wear a 'large'. Quite nonsensical isn't it? But it doesn't really matter as long as the clothes fits you devilishly well! :P
