I Can Now Travel with My Gucci by Gucci...

S

When Gucci released the Gucci by Gucci Pour Homme back in 2008, I immediately fell in love with the perfume. The scent is very sexy, deep intense and very masculine. It felt very modern, suit the new direction by Frida Giannini who took over the House of Gucci that time. And I love the ads too - featuring James Franco in the backdrop of NYC, with the Roisin Murphy's Slave to Love background song. I think from that moment I've converted into becoming a Gucci lover once and for all. :) Oh, about the perfume - I really fell in love with the smell but not quite taken by the big, bulky bottle that features Gucci's signature horsebit design. It's not too travel-friendly.

Alas, somehow probably Gucci listens to their customer's whining - so they've recently released a repackaged, travel-pack version of the famous perfume. Introducing the Gucci by Gucci Pour Homme Travel Spray. Small and mobile that you can throw it into your vanity bag without having to worry about the extra weight it's gonna cause you. It's not just about the scent that marvels me. It's the design of the bottle. Just take a look at the pix!

It's all about the cubist, with rubberized Guccissima wraparound body that draws me to it. Very solid and light to hold. One word: fantastico! And I love the accent at the backside, with vertical chrome strip bearing the signature Gucci stripe. It's all about the color too really coz the dusky grey of the original bottle continues to this new Travel Spray design. Oh man, I just can't put it in words how I love this perfume now. Even the box is splendid, with embossed pix of the perfume at the back.

It only comes in 30 mL bottle. There's also similar version for the Pour Homme Sport (in white rubber Guccissima). How small the size? You can see the measurement below. =)

The rubberized Guccissima. I just wish Gucci did the same thing for the iPod Touch cover. Then it's truly gonna be much more fantastico!

[oh, get it at Boots, coz it's £10 cheaper. do it before they change the price!]
Update: Boots has inreased the price to the RRP £30. Boy, am I lucky to get it at £20!
