One part skater boy, two parts edgy street and three parts camping dude, those are probably the formula in creating the Galliano Spring/Summer 2011 lookbook, with a sense of 'adventure' written all over it. Featuring the supermodel skater boy himself, Francisco Lachowski, the collection looks a bit like DSquared2 SS10 with many roughened up look, tumbled cottons, ripped jeans, crumpled jacket, some bleached fabrics and dip dyed, lots of looser fit trousers and tops; they're definitely the streetwear with an edge mainly for the young at heart.
Though not really my kind of everyday clothing, if I would ever choose some my picks would be; bleached vest (#2), the oversized striped tee with scripted 'galliano' that's great to be worn to bed and reminds me a bit to Sonia Rykiel's dress at H&M (#5), the studded leather biker jacket (#19) and the towering lace-up boots - nice to be brought during hiking in the forest. Oh, also that 'g-galliano' skateboard, it's cool... which I believe Francisco kept for himself!
