Loafers are the easiest to be worn when it comes to the 'covered' footwear. Just slip your feet in, and you're ready to go. With Spring/Summer will be hitting the northern hemisphere in a couple of months (but in the tropics, it's already all-year round!), loafers are the perfect companion for most people on the streets to look much dressier.
To me one brand that's definite a go-to when it comes to moccasin/loafers is Gucci. Either for eveningwear dress-up, or driving shoe or just a daily office footwear, Gucci did great designs that ensure the comfort of my feet. In fact me myself, I own a lot of Gucci loafers coz I love the simplicity and the high quality leather they used.
If given another choice, I'll definitely buy a new Gucci loafers - in python skin with the signature bamboo horsebit buckle. I love the modern and exotic take on their classic design. I think the color combo really works, that revolves around brown/beige hues. Price? About $1000.

Perhaps for a understated Gucci loafer, this one might do the job too - though it's really not to my taste. The brown mocassin doesn't have the bamboo feature, rather just the horsebit buckle that has become a Gucci signature element. Since the material is non-exotic skin, the price drop to almost half of the former shoes.
For those who think they'd not pay for that high prices, at highstreet you could also find quite similar footwear design. Done by River Island, the moccassin looks like a spitting image of the Gucci loafers - especially when relating it to its crossbody buckle. Isn't it very 'horsebit' just like Gucci? I do think so, though the color looks pretty bland in vintage brown. Yet, with the price that's just £60, you'll probably can rock the Gucci look without no one knowing it! =)
