It's almost mid Mid and the weather in London doesn't seem to catch up the heat yet. I know lots of friends out there in the Big Smoke still wrapping themselves up with the scarves and jackets and stuff, so it's pretty understandable that the ES lookbook features somewhat a typical early spring look in previous issues of Evening Standard magazine. What am I seeing? Pretty understated but cool look. Whether you're doing a 'wild' look with denim and leather jacket, or grey and white for a dash of marina style, or a toned down rock-n-roll in grey leather baseball jacket - the look all seem to keep it simple. And I think they look very urban too - especially when greys are being played around.
Which one do I like? The All Saints boots - very bashed-up, rugged feel. And the grey leather jacket by John Varvatos - an twist to a traditional baseball jacket but with an edgy simple look. :)
